Founded in 1992 by Newcastle born Rolex Trained Watchmaker Chris Rowell. The Watch Repair Centres first branch was within the prestigious Metro Centre Development (Gateshead), three miles from Newcastle. Dedicated to providing direct access to expert technicians, without dealing with untrained sales persons in high street jewellers, the Watch Repair Centre soon opened branches within Eldon Square shopping centre Newcastle and in Middlesbrough, Hartlepool, East Kilbride (near Glasgow) and Glenrothes, Fife (north of Edinburgh).

To support the Watch Repair Centres growing branch network a modern state of art workshop facility was opened in Newcastle city centre. Boasting the latest pressure testing, cleaning and electronic timeing equipment the Newcastle workshop allowed the Watch Repair Centre group to deliver an unrivalled level of service and expertees directly to the customer.

Headed by Derek Ditch, a Rolex Trained watchmaker of over 30 years, and with a staff of watchmakers and technical staff the Watch Repair Centre group can now boast of having the regions premier watch repairing facility. Specializing in the repair of most of the worlds quality watch brands in particular Rolex and other brands such as Omega, Breitling, Longines, Gucci and Tag Heuer, we are at your service !
